I have been a Christian since I was 16. Married my high school sweetheart (which is a 3 year tale of suffering) and we are still married (which is a much longer story of love, suffering, torment, romance, sword fighting, pirates… wait, that last part is the Princess Bride).

I’m also a father, a Navy Vet, a gamer, and I tend to think I am much younger than I really am. (You will hear me often quote about how much pain I am in on a normal basis.. but then again, when I was 19, I didn’t think I would live this long, so…)

I have a very odd perspective on things, seeing things more for how they really are, versus how I would like them to be. This tends to make me a bit jaded and cynical, but then again, it also helps me see things in a slightly funny and weird light.

I’m not here to offer you the answers to my questions, although, sometimes I might. But more to the point, I hope that in my open discussion of what is going on in me, it might spark in you the ability to see that you are not alone in your struggles, questions, or quandaries.

So, your perspective is welcome, but just recognize, it’s not mine. I tend to write how I think.
